What is your fee?

My out-of-pocket fee is $165 for a 50-55 minute video session. For ease and convenience, all clients are enrolled in autopay before the first session through a secure and confidential platform through either Alma or IvyPay.

I’m nervous about starting therapy. Is that normal?

Yes—completely. Therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to holding it all together for everyone else. It’s normal to feel unsure about where to start or what to say. The truth is, you don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear plan for what you want to work on. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome—including the nervous, skeptical, or guarded parts. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and honors your nervous system. If it helps, we can talk more about this in a free 15-minute consultation.

How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

A good fit matters! I encourage you to take your time reading through my site and tuning into how it feels. If something resonates, we can start with a consultation to see how it feels to connect in real time. During this consult, you’re welcome to ask questions about my approach, what a typical session looks like, or share anything you’re wondering about. There’s no pressure—this is simply a first step toward finding support that feels right for you.

What happens in the first session?

Our first session is a gentle starting point. I’ll ask a few questions to get to know you better—what’s bringing you in, what your current challenges are, and what you’re hoping for. You don’t need to have all the answers. We’ll co-create the space together, and I’ll check in often to make sure we’re moving in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming.
-
Is what we talk about kept private?
Yes. Your privacy is something I take seriously. What you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legally required exceptions:
-
If there is suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult.
-
If there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else. We can always talk more about this together so you feel informed and safe.
-
How long will I be in therapy?
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some people come in with a specific focus and work short-term, while others prefer ongoing support for deeper healing. In our early sessions, we’ll talk about your goals and revisit them as we go. Growth is often non-linear, but consistent work—especially when it honors your nervous system—can lead to lasting change. I’m here to support you at your own pace.
-
How frequently will we meet?
This looks a little different for everyone. For many, weekly sessions create a reliable space for reflection, growth, and self-care. I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions so we can build safety and trust—I can begin to understand your story, and your nervous system can begin to feel at ease in the space we’re creating together. Over time, some clients choose to shift to biweekly sessions as they feel more resourced and steady. This is always an ongoing conversation—we’ll continue to check in together and adjust the pacing in a way that supports your growth and capacity.
